Family recipes, a kitchen to share
Cristina was born and raised in the heart of Bologna, surrounded by fresh-pasta shops and the scent of ragù. Her grandmothers were her first teachers: as a child she watched them knead and roll dough, discovering how simple ingredients could carry a family’s stories.
That passion became her profession. Cristina developed her handmade-pasta skills, specialising in rolling out the sfoglia with a rolling pin. Tortellini, tagliatelle and lasagne connect her work to Bolognese tradition, through gestures that take patience and care.
Her home has always brought the family together for celebrations, lunches and special occasions. Today she shares that world with visitors: the cooking class combines hands-on preparation with stories and recipes passed down by her grandmothers. It is a way to discover Bologna through its cooking and take home something you can make again.
01Hand-rolled pasta dough
The rolling pin is at the heart of the lesson. Cristina shares the gestures of hand-rolled sfoglia, a skill learned in her family and developed professionally. Take part in the preparation and explore the relationship between dough, technique and care.
02Traditional tortellini, tagliatelle and lasagne
The programme draws on Bolognese recipes: tortellini, tagliatelle with ragù, lasagne and other traditional dishes. Learn techniques and discover the stories behind these preparations; the recipes for your session are agreed before confirmation.
03A lesson for your group, from 2 to 12 people
Lessons take place in Cristina’s home for groups of 2 to 12 people. The price bands let you choose a format for your group, from a small gathering to a shared experience with more participants.
